Quantum Safe Specific Folder Locker

1. Installation and First-Time Setup

1. Download the Quantum Safe Specific Folder Locker from the official website.
2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
3. Launch the Quantum Safe Specific Folder Locker application.
4. You'll be prompted to create:
   • A master password
   • A special password
   • A recovery email
5. Enter these details carefully and click "Save" to complete the setup.

2. Logging In

1. Launch the application.
2. Enter your master password when prompted.
3. Click "Login" to access the main interface.

3. Adding Folders or Files

1. In the main interface, click "📁 Browse Folder" to add a folder or "📁 Browse File" to add a file.
2. Navigate to the desired folder or file and select it.
3. The selected item will appear in the table on the main screen.

4. Locking a Folder or File

1. Select the folder or file you want to lock from the table.
2. Click the "🔐 Lock" button.
3. Enter a new password for this specific folder/file and confirm it.
4. Optionally, enter a recovery email for this item.
5. Click "OK" to lock the folder or file.

5. Unlocking a Folder or File

1. Select the locked folder or file from the table.
2. Click the "🔓 Unlock" button.
3. Enter the password for this specific folder/file.
4. If you've forgotten the password, click "Forgot Password?" to receive recovery instructions via email.

6. Hiding and Unhiding

1. Select a folder or file from the table.
2. Click "👁️Hide" to make it invisible in the file system.
3. To make it visible again, select the hidden item and click "👁️Unhide".

7. Removing an Item from Protection

1. Select the folder or file you want to remove from the application's protection.
2. Click the "🗑️Remove" button.
3. If the item is locked, you'll need to enter its specific password to remove it.

8. Exiting the Application

1. Click the close button (X) on the application window.
2. Confirm that you want to quit when prompted.

9. Important Notes

• Always keep your master password, special password, and recovery email safe and memorable.
• Losing access to these could result in permanent loss of access to your protected files and folders.
